The weather is getting colder, you're feeling less inclined to be productive, and you're running out of pages in your calendar. You know what that means…

The holidays are upon us.

As Thanksgiving Day passes and Christmas approaches, stores everywhere begin to put their best foot forward when it comes to giving out the best deals on the must-have products for the holiday season. We've already been keeping an eye on all of the awesome Black Friday deals for our own families, and we wanted to bring some of the best deals we've seen so far straight to you!

This is the first annual Gameflip Black Friday Buying Guide, and if you know anything about us by now, it should be that we don't mess around when it comes to deals. And, with the power of our heavily discounted gift cards for every single store we'll cover in this guide, we're about to set you up to save way more than shoppers who don't use Gameflip.

Let's get started!

For those of you who absolutely NEED to have those physical game cases sitting on your shelf, Black Friday is the best time to add to your collection. This year, there are some awesome deals on the consoles themselves as well!

Here are some of the best deals you can get in physical stores:

PS5 Consoles

Sony released the PS5 Slim just in time for Christmas, and you can get the console in money-saving bundles at a couple of stores.

Amazon has the PS5 Slim bundled with Spider-Man 2 (fantastic) or Modern Warfare III (not so fantastic) for $499.

Walmart has the same PS5 Slim + Spider-Man 2 or Modern Warfare III bundle for the same $499.

Yes, $499 is the cost of the console itself, but you get a free game with it!

While the Nintendo Switch could very well be replaced with a next-gen Nintendo console sometime next year, it has at least one big holiday season left in it.

There are bundle deals on all three current versions of the hybrid console:

Amazon has the original Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + 3 months of Switch Online bundle for $299.

Gamestop has the OLED Switch with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate + 3 months of Switch Online bundle for $350.

Both Target and Walmart have exclusive versions of the Switch Lite Animal Crossing bundle for $199.

For those eyeing the Smash OLED bundle, it's worth noting that those come with special controllers emblazoned with the Smash logo!
